The Golden Buddha

It is not uncommon to refer to God as The Light, and this is done not only in comparison, or by a kind of analogy, to the physical light of the material world. Divine Light is neither metaphor, nor allegory, but merely the explicit Truth, a Reality that each individual is capable of comprehending in direct proportion to the degree of motivation, or desire to attain.

It can be said of those who practice the Golden Buddha meditation: they have awakened, and have gained free entry to the great and wondrous realms of the Buddhas.

The Golden Buddha meditation transforms consciousness, renewing it by re-imparting unto it freshness and wholeness in the perceptual experience of the world and of life itself, in concert with the laws of The Light.

Those who practice this meditation compare the state of the Golden Buddha with the state of child when every moment lived is informed with the mastery of something new, something evocative of rapture and delight.

When peace and tranquility come to reign in our hearts, when the light of our understanding illuminates further and further heretofore inaccessible aspects of our self, we come to know our own selves and through this effort of self-knowledge or self-awareness, accede to a knowledge and understanding of God. The streaming, incandescent Light of the Divine becomes the foundation of our own consciousness. It penetrates into the depths of our essence, endowing us with the mystical experience of Receiving The Light. And this selfsame experience of Receiving The Light, the incandescent Light of the Divine, that courses through the reflection of our consciousness, gradually grows in density, crystallizes: and thus, within us, out of the Great Void, a radiant image arises. When the Golden Being becomes coherent to our awareness. Who might it be, but Buddha? For Buddha is the golden symbol of the Great Enlightenment.

The dynamic mandalas of the Golden Buddha are mandalas that reflect the nature of Light. Buddha is that One whose spiritual body self-manifests as the source and principal point of departure for the essence of Light as a phenomenon capable of entering into the consciousness of any living being [in the same way that the physical light of day, or the force of water, are fundamentally unstoppable in any absolute sense: they go where they will and where they must, so that even rock and wall yield to them]. Just throw open the portals of your heart, and an ocean of true and comprehensive Buddha Knowledge springs forth, having as its fountainhead the awareness and thoughts of each one of us. Through illumination and enlightenment, our consciousness becomes Buddha – or, to put it more precisely, our consciousness, our reason, our awareness, our understanding is Buddha.

The dynamic mandalas of the Golden Buddha operate in a manner similar to that of reflections in a mirror, or looking-glass, whereby we can access a reflection of our own proper, enlightened essence. By giving form and perceptual utterance to your self-integration of the wholly sacred and most perfectly illuminated Buddha essence, receive his image, with your eyes open, or your eyes closed. Gaze upon him, beholding living, flowing, shimmering gold.
